Day 1: Hochiminh City – Arrival (D)
Upon arrival Tan Son Nhat airport, you are warmly welcomed by our Tour guide and transferred to your hotel in the central of city. Be free and relax after long journey. In the evening, enjoy welcome dinner on boat cruise or with traditional music or show and overnight in Hochiminh City.
Day 2: Hochiminh City – Cooking Tours – City Tours (B/L)
Morning cooking lesson at the Vietnam Cookery Center: the hands-on cooking course is conducted by a professional chef and translated by a MC who will explain the teaching of the chef and talk about the history and culture of Vietnamese cuisine. The lesson includes a market visit and lunch. Afternoon, tour begins with a visit to Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon’s China Town. End of the day free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market, whose clock tower over the main entrance to what was formerly known as Les Halles Centrale is the symbol of Saigon. Opened first in 1914, it features one-way aisles loaded with people clamoring to sell you cheap goods (T-shirts, aluminum wares, silk, bamboo, and lacquer) and postcards. Overnight in Hochiminh City
Day 3: Hochiminh City – Mekong delta (B/L)
Leave at 8:00 from your hotel for My Tho. Upon arrival, get on a private boat cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Phoenix Island and stop at a garden restaurant for Vietnamese lunch. The motorized boat cruises more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee – keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, wonder around a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. On the way back to Hochiminh, stop at a bonsai garden in My Tho. End tour in the late evening. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 4: Hochiminh City – Hanoi Capital (B/L)
In the morning transfer to airport, take a flight to Hanoi Capital. Our guide & driver will pick up at airport and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi capital for check in. This afternoon your guide will take you on a brief walking tour of the fascinating Old Quarter of Hanoi, and Hoan Kiem Lake, followed by a visit some of Hanoi’s historical sight, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (from outside) and Ho Chi Minh’s house, as well as One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam and enjoy 1 hours cyclo tour around the trading area in Hanoi Trading Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong bay/ the World Heritage (B/L)
Leave Hanoi at 8:00 for Halong Bay, on arrival at Halong city at about 11.30am, get on a private boat. Have seafood lunch on boat while the boat cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches. Stop to visit Surprise Caves, one of the biggest, nicest cave in Halong Bay and short swim (if weather permitted). Finish cruise about 15.30pm. Drive back to Hanoi and end tour at 19:00. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 6: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B/L)
Start at 7:30 from your hotel by car and after 2 hours drive to Ninhbinh province, visit Hoa Lu – The Acient Capital of Vietnam in 10th century and the remaining of the two temples of Dinh King & Le King. Take a Bike or drive towards Tam Coc – the “Halong bay” onland to explore the daily life of Vietnamese. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda. Have lunch at a local restaurant, then relax and enjoy “Halong bay on land” on a rowing small boat through the rice fields and mountain ranges, visit Tamcoc – 3 beautiful caves. Back to Hanoi and end tour at 17:00. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi
Day 7: Hanoi – Luang Prabang (B/L)
I the morning, transfer to airport for connecting flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After a short rest, we visit The National Museum (close Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artefacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign and the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. We then ascent up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 8: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave – Xiengmene (B/L)
After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture and we embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, firstly stopping at Xiengmene, where we visit Wat Long Khun, and the limestone cave Tham Sakkarin, and a tour around Ban Xiengmene village. Following a picnic lunch, we then continue by boat up the Mekong which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well time to explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving. Day 9: Luang Prabang – Ban Chan – Khuang Si Fall (B/L)
Today we cross the Mekong River by boat, to the picturesque village of Ban Chan, a pottery village. We then visit the morning Phousi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, a Hmong village, Ban Ou a Laoloum village and Ban Thapene, Khmu villages. This then takes us to the beautiful Khuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. We then return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon. Day 10: Luang Prabang – Siem Reap (B/D)
After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will transfer you to airport for connecting flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you will be met and welcome by our friendly guide then transferred direct to your hotel. Start your visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of Temple, Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. It is time to visit one of the great wonders of the world, symbol of the heart and soul of the Cambodia, Angkor Wat. Tonight you will enjoy dinner with Khmer Apsara Dance Show. Overnight at hotel
Day 11: Siem Reap – Tours (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel, We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers, Pre Rup, East Mebon, and Neak Poan. Visit Krovan, Royal Bath of Srah Srang and Banteay Kdei temples. Overnight at hotel
Day 12: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Departure (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel – visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Visit the village and take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia, and Les Artisan D’ Angkor. Free & leisure at your own time for rolling at local markets or shopping until transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure. End trip!!!!
