This Australian adventure offers you the best of what this diverse country has to offer. The tour package begins in Sydney where you will enjoy a wonderful harbor cruise with city views, plus a tour of the famous Sydney Opera House. During our tour of Sydney, you will see many of the key sites including the scenic mountain areas and a wildlife park. Next, we head down south to Melbourne to enjoy a drive along the great Ocean Road, a scenic drive with views of the famous 12 Apostles rock formations in the ocean. We will have the opportunity to see the famous Koalas as well as penguins, kangaroos and more. No trip to Australia is complete without a visit to the “Outback” and experiencing the famous Ayers Rock, aka Uluru. We will enjoy a special dinner under the stars in the outback as we experience the ever changing colors on this famous rock as the sun sets, all while enjoying a special musical serenade. The following morning we get to witness the sunrise, which is different and unique at every moment. We complete our tour in Cairns in the Northern part of the country. Here we will experience a trip to the rainforest area with waterfalls and glorious views. You will also be treated to a boating excursion to partake in some beautiful snorkeling and an island visit. If you are interested in diving the Great Barrier Reef, please inquire about a post stay to enjoy the famous reef and all it has to offer.
You will depart the US on April 23, arriving in Sydney on April 24. Remember, you cross the International date line.
Day 1 April 25: Arrival into Sydney. Meet and Greet by our driver/guide and transfer to the hotel. Pre-registration included for direct access to the room and breakfast. Free time to freshen up, relax, and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 12:00 meet our guide and walk 10 min to Royal Botanical Gardens. Walk via The Domain through the different gardens as you venture toward the restaurant. E2-course course lunch with 1 glass of wine, beer or soft drink. Next, we head to the circular Quay. Check in for your harbor Sightseeing Cruise to see all the major attractions around the Harbour including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and the million dollar homes with our informative GPS. Includes coffee and tea. Disembark in Circular Quay and transfer to our Hotel the Sydney Boulevard Hotel: Standard city view room for 3 nights. (B, L)

Day 2 April 26: Sydney Tour. Full Breakfast included this morning, then we meet with our guide in the lobby for a Coach pickup for the City Tour (4 hrs)
Includes a stop at Bondi Beach for a stroll along the beach and a stop for photos at the Gap. Return to the City Center, where we will see the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon lookout, Cathedral St Marie, Harbour Bridge and be dropped off at The Sydney Opera House. Includes 1 hr Private Tour of the Sydney Opera House. Next, we continue our guided visit with a walking tour of the Rocks: starting from Circular Quay, our guide will show you the many hidden secrets that can only be discovered on foot: The historical area of the Rocks, the birthplace of the Nation of Australia with its unique architecture and its many stories. Discover the hidden lanes and a bit of Australian history, from the convicts’ time to present day Sydney. A great introduction to Sydney and Australia! Transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day and evening is at your leisure to enjoy. Your guide will be on hand for suggestions. (B)
Day 3 April 27: Sydney Full day tour. Full breakfast this morning then we depart to the Blue Mountains for a full tour of the area. Stop at Featherdale wildlife park and see over 2,220 native animals – koalas, kangaroos, emus, wombats, dingoes, Tasmanian Devils, penguins and a whole lot more. See the Three Sisters, and stop off at the quaint villages of Leura or Katoomba. Stop at Wentworth falls and be sure to take the walking track from Wentworth Falls Reserve to the Princes Lookout for a great view of the Wentworth Falls and the Jamison Valley. A boxed lunch for a picnic is included. Visit the home of Sydney’s 2000 Olympic Games before returning to the hotel. (B, L)
Day 4 April 28: Transfer from Sydney to Melbourne. Full Breakfast at the hotel then we transfer to the airport for our flight to Melbourne. Arrival in Melbourne and Meet & Greet with our English speaking Guide. Coach pickup with City Orientation (5 hours) to see the historical sights of Melbourne including the Bourke Street Mall, Chinatown, Queen Victoria Markets, Flinders Street Station and the Royal Botanical Gardens, Yarra River, and St Kilda. The tour ends at Eureka Skytower at 3:00, the highest public vantage point in the Southern Hemisphere. We have Included Tickets for the Skydeck experience; an observation deck on the 88th floor with 360-degree panoramic views. Next, free time at Melbourne Southbank precinct; stretching along the southern bank of the Yarra River and renowned for restaurants, public art, and stylish retailers. Transfer to our hotel for check in. We then walk to Tramstop (15 min) at 5:45 for an early Dinner on the Colonial Tramcar; a dining experience on a restored, moving streetcar with vintage decor. Day 5 April 29: Melbourne Tour. Full Breakfast included at the hotel. Meet with our guide in the lobby at 09:00 a.m. and travel to the Dandenong Ranges to see the beautiful forests and fern gullies. 10:30 drop off at Belgrave for a ride on the famous Puffiing Billy; a century-old steam train which still runs on its original mountain track. Arrival at Lakeside, then we drive to DeBortoli Winery in the Yarra Valley, host to a thriving wine growing industry. Lunch at the winery including wine tasting and tour (Main and dessert). Next, our solo female travel tour stops at Philipp Island where we will use our 3 Parks Pass: Penguin Parade/Koala Conservation Center and Churchill Island. This area holds an important place in the history of European settlement in Victoria (Standard Viewing). Take a step back in time and explore the heritage and tranquil scenery of Churchill Island’s extensive farm grounds and beautiful gardens. See the working dogs demonstration and a sheep shearing. Explore the treetop boardwalks at the Koala Conservation Center to see some koalas. We enjoy dinner here and watch the Penguin Parade – when penguins begin to surface on the beach and provide a spectacular show. We then transfer back to our hotel in Melbourne. (B, L, D)
Day 6 April 30: Melbourne. After breakfast, we depart for a walking tour to explore Melbourne’s lanes, alleyways, little streets, arcades, cafe society and fascinating shops. We’ll enjoy lunch, including wine, at the Deck restaurant. This afternoon take a walk in the park: see magnificent cathedrals, lush park lands and the delightful Flinders Lane. Walk up to Fitzroy Gardens with your guide and take the free tram to return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for relaxing and shopping and more sites of your personal interest. Day 7 May 1: Melbourne Great Ocean Road tour. Full Breakfast then our coach picks us up and we depart for a full day Great Ocean Road journey. Enjoy one of the world’s great coastal drives with its dramatic scenery of striking contrasts. The region boasts powerful seas, golden beaches, peaceful townships, giant cliffs and lush forests. See the Twelve Apostles & Loch Ard Gorge. Stopping by Kenneth River for a photo stop, we continue to Bells beach, Apollo Bay and see the 12 Apostles. Continue to Loch Ard Gorge for another photo stop. Lunch at Apollo Bay Hotel, then we return to the hotel with the evening at leisure. (B)
Day 8 May 2: Transfer from Melbourne to Ayers Rock. After Breakfast we transfer to the Airport for the 09:20 AM flight to Ayers Rock, arriving at our destination at 11:50 a.m. Transfer to our hotel with a 3:00 Normal check in time (you can leave your luggage in the storeroom and have lunch at your leisure at the resort). Next, we will be touring the Olgas to see the 36 Domes of the Olgas and a chance for an Olgas Gorge Walk (weather and fitness permitted) Includes National Park fee. Transfer to the hotel and prepare for sounds of silence. Sunset from the viewing area, including Outback style canapes, a three-course bushtucker inspired buffet, and Australian wine or beer. We will watch a traditional Indigenous dance, Didgeridoo performance, and receive a guided tour of the night sky during the sunset. This place is located right in the middle of the continent and is Australia’s spiritual center. According to locals and visitors, you end up feeling the energy really fast after you reach the destination. We are facing a hollow plateau that is locally called Tiukurpa, which means dream time. There are many ancient tribes that stayed in the area and this led to many different energy accumulations. Spiritual visions are quite common when you are in the Uluru Plateau. Day 9 May 3: :Transfer from Ayers Rock to Cairns. After a full breakfast we depart at 11:30 AM. This morning, join Indigenous artists and learn about the different symbols used to create
beautiful works of art depicting Creation Time (Tjukurpa) stories. Create your own artwork to take home as a memento of your experience. Next, we enjoy lunch then transfer to the Ayers Rock airport. At 3:15 we take the flight to Cairns to arrive at 6:10 PM. We then dine at the hotel and experience the famous Churrasco. Novotel Oasis Cairns Resort Standard room. for 3 nights (B, D)
Day 10 May 4: Cairns Tour. Walk 5 min to the Reef Fleet Terminal (No guide included). The day begins with a leisurely cruise down the magnificent Mulgrave River. Learn about the area’s unique flora and fauna while taking in the beauty of the surrounding rainforest clad hills. At the mouth of the river, the Frankland Islands slowly come into view and it is only a short open water crossing to our destination for the day. Frankland Islands is a perfect location for snorkelers to drift over the amazing variety of corals and marine life that inhabit the area, including fish, sea turtles and octopi. The guided snorkeling tour offers a chance to discover and interact with the reef under the guidance of marine naturalists. Alternatively, stay dry while discovering this underwater paradise with a coral viewing tour from the semi-submersible or glass bottom boat. A highlight unique to the Frankland Islands is your guided “Island Discovery walk” – join our marine naturalists for an informative and fascinating exploration of the island’s forest, sandy beaches and the reef’s nursery – the rock pools. Day 11 May 5: Cairns tour to the rainforest. After breakfast, we meet our guide and transfer to the terminal to take the Skyrail to Kuranda; a 7.5 kilometre scenic cable way running above the Barron Gorge National Park in the Wet Tropics of the Queensland’s World Heritage area north of Cairns. Arrival in Kuranda and free time to explore the Rainforest Village. Meet at the terminal for a Scenic Train Ride to Freshwater Station. Traversing the mountainous walls of the Barron Gorge National Park through hand carved solid granite rock tunnels and past tumbling rainforest waterfalls, this train ride is now classed as one of the best train journeys in the world. Arrival at Freshwater Station and transfer to our hotel. Time to freshen up then transfer to our Farewell Dinner. We will enjoy the Tjapikai Night Fire and meet the Bama, the Indigenous rainforest people who take you on a mesmerizing journey with the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo. We will enjoy a dinner including tantalizing Indigenous flavors. Transfer to the Hotel. (B, D)
Day 12 May 6: Return Home. Depart for a transfer to the Cairns airport for your return flight home. (B)
