Day 1:June 5, 2020: Arrive into San Francisco and transfer to the hotel. If your taking the Yosemite tour prior to this Napa tour you will be dropped at the Chancelor hotel.
One arrival transfer is included that departs the airport at 1:00 PM. Today you have the option to explore the city at your leisure or take a tour of Alcatraz (not included). Tonight we meet at 5:00 PM and take the famous San Francisco trolley down to Fishermans Wharf. We will enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant in the famous San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf. Enjoy some time to stroll the waterfront and check out the local shops and sea lions which hang out here before dinner. We will get to know our fellow travelers and enjoy a meal of fresh local seafood the area is famous for. Chancellor Hotel in Union Square. (D)
Day 2: June 6: This morning we depart for a scenic ride to Napa Valley. We will enjoy a day of winery tours and wine tastings at 3 different vineyards. Each has been hand selected for our tasting and each has a unique setting offering the best local California wines for your enjoyment. A special picnic lunch will be enjoyed at one of the wineries. You will have some time to explore this lovely town of Napa and it’s quaint and local boutique shops and wine tasting rooms. Dinner tonight in town at your leisure. Napa River Inn for 2 nights. Day 3:June 7: After breakfast we head to Sonoma Valley. Your day in this California wine country comprises of wonderful wineries each offering a different variety of wines. Each wine tasting takes place in a private setting, where your representatives at each winery will explain the different varieties you’ll sample and the background of the wineries. You will enjoy a wonderful wine makers lunch at one of the wineries with a unique selection of wines to be paired with each dish. Enjoy some time to explore this quaint town of Sonoma. Your choice for dinner tonight is to eat in Sonoma or head back to Napa. (B, L)
Day 4:June 8: You have the option of going on to the Yosemite tour or fly home.
We will depart after breakfast for San Francisco. Our first stop is Muir Woods where we will enjoy a walk through this magical forest of huge Red Woods that are several years old and offer a unique experience of nature. We will enjoy some scenic streams along the the wooded area. Out next stop is in Sausalito for lunch at the marina with breathtaking views of the bay dotted with sail boats passing by. Some time to shop in this beautiful little town and explore Sausalito with it's many galleries and boutique shops. Next we head across the Golden gate bridge into San Francisco where we will enjoy a scenic tour of San Francisco. The tour will include a drive down the famous Crooked street, and Nob Hill as time permits. Then we return to the airport for your flight home. Flights need to be booked after 4 PM (B)

Time Zone: California runs on Pacific Standard time.
Weather: Weather for June is very lovely with daytime highs around the high 70's to low 80's and cooler evenings around the 50's to 60's.
Activity Level: This is an easy tour with limited walking and is a good fit for most travelers. You should be able to stand unassisted for up to 30 minutes at times during the wine tastings if needed. Most of these we are siting for. You will need be able to keep up with the group without any assistance. At times you will need manage your own luggage. This trip is pretty easy for the average person however if you can't or choose not to participate in certain activities this is at your own discretion. However it cannot affect the groups participation nor can any tours or activities or refunds be offered or changed due to an individual not being able or not wanting to participate.
