Day 1: Arrive into San Francisco and transfer to the hotel. One arrival transfer is included that departs the airport at 1:00 PM. Today you have the option to explore the city at your leisure or take a tour of Alcatraz (not included). Tonight we meet at 5:00 PM and take the famous San Francisco trolley down to Fishermans Wharf. We will enjoy a welcome dinner at a local fish restaurant at the famous San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf. Enjoy some time to stroll the waterfront and check out the local shops before dinner. We will get to know our fellow travelers and enjoy a meal of fresh local seafood the area is famous for. Chancellor Hotel in Union Square. (D)
Day 2: This morning we depart for a scenic ride to Napa Valley. We will enjoy a day of winery tours and wine tastings at 3 different vineyards. Each has been hand selected for our tasting each in a unique setting offering the best local California wines for your enjoyment. A special picnic lunch will be enjoyed at one of the wineries. We will be staying in the boutique town of St. Helena. You will have some time to explore this lovely town and it’s quaint and local boutique shops and wine tasting rooms. Later on we will check into our hotel and have time to relax before dinner at a local restaurant. Our hotel features All Suite bedrooms, each with a full bath and separate vanity and dressing area, available with one king or two queen size beds. Each of the suites offers a separate sitting room surrounding an old wood burning fireplace, comfortable work space, and convenient wet bar with refrigerator. Each of our suites offers both wired and wireless internet access. The hotel also offers a pool and hot tub. Country Vineyard Inn for 2 nights. (B, L)
Day 3: After breakfast we head to Sonoma Valley. Your day in this California wine country comprises of 3 wonderful wineries each offering a different variety of wines. Each wine tasting takes place in a private setting, where your representatives at each winery will explain the different varieties you’ll sample and the background of the wineries. You will enjoy a wonderful wine makers lunch at one of the wineries with a unique selection of wines to be paired with each dish. Tonight we will dine in Downtown Napa for our farewell dinner. (B, L)
Day 4: We will depart after breakfast for San Francisco. Our first stop is Muir Woods where we will enjoy a walk through this magical forest of huge Red Woods that are several years old and offer a unique experience of nature. We will enjoy some scenic streams along the the wooded area. Out next stop is in Sausalito for lunch at the marina with breathtaking views of the bay dotted with sail boats passing by. Some time to shop in this beautiful little town and explore Sausalito with it's many galleries and boutique shops. Next we head across the Golden gate bridge into San Francisco where we will enjoy a scenic tour of San Francisco. The tour will include a drive down the famous Crooked street, seeing the Painted ladies, and Nob Hill. Then we return to the airport for your flight home. Flights need to be booked after 4 PM (B)

Weather: Weather for April is very lovely with daytime highs around the high 60's to low 70's and cooler evenings around the 50's
Activity Level: This is an easy tour with limited walking and is a good fit for most travelers. You should be able to stand unassisted for up to 30 minutes at times during the wine tastings if needed. Most of these we are siting for. You will need be able to keep up with the group without any assistance. At times you will need manage your own luggage. This trip is pretty easy for the average person however if you can't or choose not to participate in certain activities this is at your own discretion. However it cannot affect the groups participation nor can any tours or activities or refunds be offered or changed due to an individual not being able or not wanting to participate.
