Day 1: October 4th – Arrive into Phoenix Airport (PHX) You must arrive by 12:00 noon and then we will drive to Sedona about a 2 hour drive. We will make a lunch stop along the way. We will head to Red Rock State park to enjoy a light hike and the magnificent views of the Red Rock mountains. During this hike we will visit one of the many “Vortexes” Sedona is famous for. A Vortex is a place in nature where the earth is exceptionally alive with energy. The term Vortex in Sedona refers to a place where the earth energy swirls and draws to it’s center everything that surrounds it like a tornado. At these magical sites, trees often exhibit this swirling or twisting of their trunks due the powerful vortex energy at the core of a Sedona Vortex.
After our hike we check into our hotel and freshen up a bit. You may enjoy a facial or foot treatment at the spa or relax by the pool or Jacuzzi.
This evening we head into town for an authentic Sedona style dinner. Poco Diablo Hotel for 3 nights (D)
Day 2: October 5th – Today is about the arts and the beauty. After a wonderful breakfast we head out on a Jeep tour exploring the Magnificent Red Rocks of Sedona. See iconic rock formations, a historic cattle trail and stunning scenery. After our tour it’s time for some lunch in a unique outdoor setting among the trees at the famous Tlaquepaque Arts and crafts center. After lunch enjoy some time to shop in the local crafts stores for art, jewelry and local hand made goods. Back at the hotel you will have time for an Included Spa treatment and time to simply take in the beauty of the area. This evening we will head in downtown Sedona for the Art walk. Walk around some of the local art stores and browse through the galleries for some unique finds. Dinner in town at a local authentic dining spot. (B, L)
Day 3: October 6th – You may opt to rise early and watch the sunrise over the beautiful mountains with ever changing colors. After a hearty breakfast we head for a hike among the magnificent scenery of the mountains and rocks. We will enjoy a picnic lunch as we sit among the beauty and nature of the wonderful and majestic area. We will take a drive through the Oak creek Canyon. Oak Creek Canyon is a river gorge located in northern Arizona between the cities of Flagstaff and Sedona. The canyon is often described as a smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon because of its scenic beauty.
Back our hotel enjoy your final Included Spa treatments or opt for some additional Spa treatments of your choice.
Farewell dinner tonight as we say goodbye to the beauty and nature of Sedona. (B, D)
Day 4: October 7th – After breakfast we depart for Phoenix for our return fight home. We have a 2 hour drive back to Phoenix so Do Not books flights prior to 1:00 PM.
You may opt to stay an additional night if you have the day off work tomorrow for Columbus day. (B)
