What better way to experience our Nations National Parks then with a long weekend exploring, hiking and being “One” with nature. Our guided trip through Utah’s National Parks will take us to the beautiful, majestic scenery of both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Our days will be filled with hiking, spas, sunsets and sunrises over the mountains, horse back rides, quaint towns, and breathtaking nature. We will begin our time at a Spa Resort with gorgeous views of the mountains.
Day 1: October 25 – Arrival Day into St. George, Utah (SGU) Upon arrival, you will be transferred to our hotel, The Red Mountain Resort. This resort offers a full service spa, yoga, fitness, hiking and more. You will have the day at your leisure to enjoy the resort’s many amenities, and we will later join together for a welcome dinner at the resort’s restaurant. Please note any activities and spa treatments are additional ($). You may also opt to arrive a day early to enjoy more of this resort and all it has to offer. Flights need to arrive between 2 and 4 pm for the included transfer. Otherwise, a private transfer can be arranged for an additional fee. Welcome dinner tonight at the hotel. Day 2: October 26 – After breakfast, we will head to Bryce Canyon. A scenic drive awaits us as we head to this famous park filled with Hoodoos (odd-shaped pillars of rock left standing from the forces of erosion). Bryce Canyon offers different views at every time of day with its ever changing red rock colors. Upon arrival, you will have the option to take a horse back ride with amazing mountain views along the way or a hike with your tour leader. After our tour of Bryce Canyon, we check into our hotel which again offers scenic views of the mountains. Time to relax in the pool or hot tub before dinner in town at a famous landmark restaurant with some great home cooking. Ruby’s Inn for 1 night (L)
Day 3: October 27 – After a hearty breakfast and sunrise over the mountains if your an early riser, we head to the quaint town of Springdale for some authentic area shopping and lunch. These towns not only offer great shopping for clothes, jewelry, and locally hand made crafts but also a unique small town feel. Zion National Park. Along the way, we will pass mountains, lakes and scenic towns offering a view around every corner. This park is famous for its many sandstone cliffs, red rock mountains, and scenic hikes. You will have 1 hike this afternoon and the hike will be chosen based on your activity and comfort level. After our hike, we will head back to the hotel with time for a relaxing soak in the hot tub. This evening, we will enjoy a much earned feast at the Lodge with gorgeous views of the mountains that surround us. Majestic View Lodge for 2 nights. (B, L)
Day 4: October 28 – After breakfast, we head out for a morning hike in Zion National Park. The hiking options are plentiful and can be chosen based on your comfort level. We’ll stop for some grocery items to pack a picnic lunch to take with us. The hikes here are quite breathtaking and each one offers something unique in terms of views, hiking ability being one with nature. After our hike we will enjoy a picnic lunch at the base of the mountains, we will then take a drive through the park with views that amaze at every turn. From the red rocks, gorgeous vistas and eternal views the drive through Zion is truly amazing. Photos stops and time to just take it all in along the way. This evening we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner to say goodbye to our new friends. (D)
Day 5: October 29 – Departure Day – After breakfast, we will head back to St. George for your return flight home. Included transfers will be offered for 1 flight time only and this will be for early in the morning. This will be determined after all bookings and flights are in. Additional private airport transfers can be offered at an additional cost.
