Enjoy the great outdoors and Experience "Glamping" at it's best during this fun filled adventure to two National Parks in Utah. You will spend 2 fun nights glamping in a luxury tent just outside of Zion National park. Enjoy stargazing and experience the great outdoors and nature at it's best.
Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike.
Bryce Canyon National Park, a sprawling reserve in southern Utah, is known for crimson-colored hoodoos, which are spire-shaped rock formations. The park’s main road leads past the expansive Bryce Amphitheater, a hoodoo-filled depression lying below the Rim Trail hiking path. It has overlooks at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point and Bryce Point. Prime viewing times are around sunup and sundown.Itinerary
Day 1: September 1, 2021 Wednesday - Arrive at the St. George, Utah airport (SGU). Upon arrival meet your tour leader and take one scheduled transfer at 2:00 PM to Zion National park. (If your flight does not coordinate with this time optional prenights can be arrange in St. George and then you will meet the group on Sept 1 to transfer to the park.) Upon arrival at our accommodation check in and then head out to enjoy nature's scenery with a horse back ride. You will experience majestic views of the canyons and red rock mountains this area is famous for. After take some time to enjoy the amenities at the resort this afternoon. Tonight we have a welcome dinner enjoying an old fashioned Cowboy dinner with games and entertainment.
Zion Ponderosa Ranch for 2 nights. We have 3 accomodation options. Go all out and experience Glamping in a very nice permanent tent with some great creature comforts, or experience staying in a Contessa Wagon or if you need something more traditional try the Cowboy cabin. Details of each accomodation can be found on the resorts website. (D)
Day 2: September 2 - Thursday - Zion National Park - Today we experience the natural beauty and Red Rock mountains of Zion National Park. We will enjoy 1 or 2 hikes from an easy to moderate level in the park. A picnic lunch outside among the scenery will be a relaxing break. A scenic drive takes us back toward our accommodation where we then enjoy an afternoon ATV ride and hike through a "slot canyon". This tour will take you on a fun and exciting ride over rocks and sand as you zip around the scenic area. You will also get to experience a hike through a slot canyon. After all this fun excitement back to the ranch with time to relax and enjoy the onsite amenities or a soak in the pool or hot tub. Tonight dinner is at your leisure on property. (B, L)
Day 3: September 3 - Friday - Bryce Canyon National Park - After breakfast we check out of our resort and take a scenic drive to Bryce National park. Upon arrival we enjoy our first hike in the park. Bryce offers many hoodoos to see and the "Rim trail" is one of the most scenic hikes. Hoodoos (irregular columns of rock) exist on every continent, but here is the largest concentration found anywhere on Earth. Situated along a high plateau at the top of the Grand Staircase. We will enjoy a picnic lunch as we sit among this fantastic natural beauty. We will now head off to our hotel and check in and enjoy some to time to relax. The hotel offers a pool and hot tub. There may be an optional sunset viewing at the Rim of the canyon prior to dinner.
Tonight we will have dinner in town. Best Western Plus Hotel for 1 night. (B, L)
Day 4: September 4 - Saturday - Bryce to St George - If your an early riser you may opt to get up and watch the sunrise over the mountains this morning. After breakfast we check out of our hotel and take an easy hike in Bryce. One more chance to experience all this beauty. We then take a scenic drive back towards St George and head to our last accommodation. After hiking, glamping and adventure now it's time to relax and be pampered. Our property has onsite yoga, stretching, Spa, and more. You will have the remainder of the day to enjoy the resort amenities. Dinner will be at your leisure tonight to allow time for you to enjoy the Spa and onsite activities.(B, L)
Day 5: September 5 - Sunday - Departure Day
After breakfast we depart for the St. George airport for our return flight home. OPTIONS: There is one shared transfer that will depart at 11:30 AM. If your flight requires a different transfer time the hotel offers complimentary airport transfers. You also have the option of extending your stay at the resort to enjoy more Spa time,Yoga, Hikes and everything the property has to offer.(B)Tour Details

Entry Requirements: Visitors from Canada and other countries need a valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date you intend to leave your country. Make sure you check your passport expiry date at least 2 months prior to travel. Before traveling abroad it's a good idea to make two photocopies of your passport, driver's license and credit cards. Leave one copy at home with a friend or family member and another bring with you.
Time Zone: Utah is in the Mountain Time Zone. They are 2 hours behind NYC.
Weather: Utah has mild weather with low humidity. Nature lovers relish Fall in Utah when crowds are less and the weather is still refreshing. The temperatures, ranging from the mid-80s to the low 80s, make for ideal hiking weather. Evening temperatures are a bit mid to high 50's.
Currency: The US currency is the dollar.
Electricity: US Standard Voltage is the 120 V. Most hotels provide hairdryers.
Taxes: Utah sales tax is 4.95%.
Health: There are no health issues for concerns for a trip to Utah.
Activity level: During the this Tour, we will travel by private van sometimes for a few hours at a time with comfort stops along the way. To be able to fully enjoy the tour and participate in scheduled activities, you need to be able to walk/hike at a leisurely pace, up to 3 or 5 miles on some days, many times this is on dirt or uneven surfaces. You should be able to stand unassisted for up to 30 minutes at times during the tours. This trip does have many hikes and most are easy or moderate hikes with rest stops along the way. This trip is pretty easy for the average person however if you can't or choose not to participate in certain activities this is at your own discretion. However it cannot affect the groups participation nor can any tours or activities or refunds be offered or changed due to an individual not being able or not wanting to participate in any activities.
