Ladies, We All do it. We over pack a different outfit for every day. Too many shoes, Too much jewelry. We pack our suitcase so full we don’t leave room for purchased goods while abroad. Step 1: Think of what you need and lay everything out on your bed.
Step 2: Mix and match as much as possible. Take a few bottoms and pair them with various tops to create multiple outfits using fewer clothes. Items like scarfs and jackets easily turn the outfit to a new one.
Step 3: Only pack 2 or 3 pairs of shoes. Where the heaviest pair on the plane. Use shoe bags to keep clothes clean.
Step 4: After you look over your different outfits start to take away un needed items. Remember you likely will shop for new outfits on your journey.
Step 6: Toiletry bag. Ladies leave the bathroom at home. Be Free while you travel and take little or no make up. Most hotels have hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Use travel sized products where possible.
Step 7: Roll your clothes always! This keeps them from wrinkling and you’ll be amazed at where you can tuck an item in your suite case when it’s rolled up.
Step 8: Lingerie – Wash undergarments and hang to dry at the hotels so you pack less. Also buying inexpensive undergarments and leaving them behind as you go creates extra room in your luggage for purchases.
Step 9: “Carry on Bag” for the plane. Take a backpack or tote bag on the Plane and always pack these essentials. Not only does this save room in your suite case but gives you the essentials you need during the flight and if your luggage gets lost. Sweater, scarf, electronics and chargers. Book, pen, socks, a change of clothes (very handy for lost luggage). Toothbrush & toothpaste we all need fresh breath after a long flight. Hand lotion travel – size, eye mask to keep airplane lights outs. Wet wipes, lip balm. Check out these great carry on bag hints.
Step 10: If your not absolutely sure you need it or will use it. LEAVE IT HOME!
