Come explore London and the countryside of England as we tour this city famous for Castles and history.
We begin our tour in central London as we visit Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London, Windsor Castle and many other iconic sites of London. Enjoy High Tea as the British do and stroll the streets filled with unique shops and sites all around. There are gardens to stroll through and the theatre district for nighttime entertainment.
Heading out of the city enjoy the history and wonder of Stonehenge. Explore one of the prettiest small towns the Cotswold's. With its quaint feel, unique shops and English fare this town is worth exploring.
No visit to this area can be done without a stop at the famous Highclere Castle. Filming site and story line for the Downton Abbey show.
Itinerary
Day 1: August 25, 2023 - Arrive London
Welcome to London and arrive the (LHR) airport. Enjoy a private transfer to our upscale hotel in central London. You can spend the afternoon relaxing after your journey and exploring at leisure London. In the evening, you will meet the other tour guests, as we enjoy our welcome dinner.

Day 2: August 26 - London: Westminster Abbey, Changing of the guard, Trafalgar Square
We'll spend our first full day in London, England getting an appreciation for some of London's most iconic sights and experiences. We'll start with one of the city's most spectacular architectural gems, Westminster Abbey, our guide will share with us the history and secrets of England's coronation church. We'll continue with a historical overview tour of the Houses of Parliament and the Palace of Westminster. As we admire the architecture and the splendor of the richly decorated interiors, we'll learn about United Kingdom's past and current events that were shaped in these chambers. For lunch today, we'll enjoy a formal afternoon tea, a classic English meal with freshly prepared pastries, scones with clotted cream, finger sandwiches, and artisan teas.
This evening is at your leisure to enjoy the city.

Day 3: London: August 27 - Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Thames Dinner Cruise
Today, we'll spend the day visiting more of the famous London landmarks. The Tower of London, Windsor Castle and St Georges Chapel. After our tour enjoy a bit of free time to explore London and any sites of specific interest to you.
After all this history, we'll get to relax in the evening, as we take a Thames dinner cruise, enjoying a gourmet dinner, as we glide past brilliantly lit London landmarks, seeing them from a totally different viewpoint.

Day 4: August 28 - Depart for the Cotswolds’
Depart London and drive to Burford where the magnificent high street holds every variety of Cotswold stone. There will be time to visit the tea houses and shops before we head south to Bibury, described as the ‘prettiest village in the Cotswolds’ by William Morris.
In Bibury well enjoy lunch in the Swan Hotel situated in the center of Bibury overlooking the River Coln. The 17th century former coaching Inn serves a fabulous range of traditional cooking, ales and fine wines.
Next we are off to the Northern Cotswolds. In the afternoon we take a leisurely drive passing through charming villages before visiting Bourton-on-the-water and Stow-on-the World, two of the most picturesque parts of the northern Cotswolds. Your guide will take you on a short walk in each village explaining their history.

Day 5: August 29- Stonehenge, Bath, Salisbury
This morning, visit something unique, the garden of his HRM King Charles III, at his private home of Highgrove. He bought the estate in 1980 and became his personal mission to create an ark containing all the things that he champions, organic gardening, architecture and art.
Drive onwards to Bath, enjoy lunch in the city center. Visit Bath Abbey overlooking the Avon River, the Palladian Pulteney Bridge, the Georgian Circle and the Royal Crescent.
The afternoon will be at leisure to pursue your individual interests, be it a relaxation session at Thermae Bath Spa, or to browse the many elegant boutiques in the town. Take a stroll in the Prior Park Landscape Garden or a visit to some of the city's museums or art galleries.
The evening is at your leisure to enjoy the town.

Day 6: August 30 - Highclere Castle – London
We head back towards London stopping at the famous Highclere Castle, better known from its portrayal of the cinematic "Downton Abbey". We'll tour the castle seeing some of its iconic sites and history, then have some time for a stroll in its gardens. Continuing on we will arrive at our London hotel in the afternoon stopping lunch enroute.
Dinner and evening at your leisure. You may opt for a Theatre Show.

Day 7: August 31 - Depart for the airport for your return flight home.
